Stay   warm this winter

LEAP into action

There are a number of schemes available to help people keep     themselves, and their homes, warm this winter.  Staying warm is really     important, so we’re supporting the LEAP programme. A comprehensive energy     saving scheme run by Cosy Devon, LEAP is helping lots of people keep warm. Find out if you, or someone you know, is eligible for     support.

Don't forget to   insulate yourself!

Make sure you wrap up warm when heading out during cold     weather. Wear multiple thin layers of clothing rather than one thick layer.     Remember to wear shoes with suitable soles if there is a risk of ice. Keep up-to-date with cold weather warnings.

Why should I keep   warm?

Temperatures     below 8°C can increase risk of heart attack, stroke, flu and falls,     especially for certain groups of people? Read the NHS's advice on keeping warm and staying     well.
